History and Condition of This Flute:

This beautiful flute is only slightly used and is in excellent condition.  Someone bought it and loved it, but had a shoulder issue after a couple weeks of playing, so it unfortunately caused her pain to hold it up.   I have lowered the price down by $550 to compensate both for the short time it was used, and also for the defect. It normally sells new for $3550.

There is a slight rippling effect in the curve of the headjoint (manufacturing defect), and I can't get the minor flaw to show up in picures.  It does not effect the playability, and can be seen only if you look for it.  The person who owned it for a short time also agreed that it played fine.

Each of Di Zhao's bass flutes come with a handcut headjoint, and they play beautifully!  This is a fantastic way to get a nice instrument without breaking the pocketbook.
