About This Model:
The GXIII is the most recent version of Muramatsu's professional silver flute with solid silver body and headjoint, silver clad keys and mechanism, gold springs and drawn tone holes.  It employs the same latest lotus pad design, reliable mechanism and quality workmanship of the more expensive silver and gold Muramatsu flutes.  The headjoint is carefully cut and individually matched to the body to enhance intonation and tone.

History/Condition:
Excellent condition with very few signs of wear. Beautiful!  My tech. has looked over it, made a few adjustments and  has agreed that it is very nice instrument. All pads are excellent and they seal well.

Playability:
Just as expected from a well-adjusted Muramatsu, the tone on this flute is rich and flexible, with lots of opportunities for color and volume.  The smooth mechanism and quality workmanship make this particular flute very suitable for playing quickly tongued passages with ease. The eveness of range is also striking, as the high notes are easy to play (and they taper off nicely too) without the low notes being sacrificed.  

Price:
A new flute with this configuration would sell for $7650.  Asking $5795 plus reasonable shipping fee.
