History and Condition:
This beautiful handmade Haynes Deveau flute was made at the end of 1992 (serial # 49499) and has been well loved and cared for by two owners.  

I'm sure this beautiful instrument has a great story to tell; the original owner was from the New York area and had used it in Broadway shows, commercials among other settings, and it is now being sold only because the present owner has bought a Haynes flute with a lighter wall for comfort.

For it's age, it is in excellent used condition overall, showing the expected light-moderate wear from use over time.  There is light/minor surface wear here and there that can be seen when it's turned in various angles in good lighting, but nothing unusual for a flute it's age, and nothing that would have any effect on the playability or the sound.

The pads are excellent and seal well with a light touch down to the low C.

It was last overhauled in April of 2016 by David Samperi, whose clients include members of the New York Philharmonic orchestra and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

Comes with the original slimline case, a cleaning rod and removable plugs for the holes. 

Playability
Beautiful!  This flute plays better than others like it that have gone through my hands.  It has the unique "Haynes sound", but is fuller and more colorful than some of its counterparts.
