SOLD-Powell Signature Piccolo (used) - Excellent!

This beautiful professional handmade grenadilla wood Powell Signature piccolo was extremely well-cared-for by it's owner, and is in excellent condition.  It has recently been serviced by my trusted tech., and it plays beautifully from "head to toe".

Condition
This piccolo is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks or damage to the wood, and was recently serviced.  The finish on the keys, as well as the pads, are in excellent condition.

Playability:
This has a lovely dark and soothing tone with the ability to either project or play quietly.  The high register plays without a struggle, and is easier to play in tune than many other comparable piccolos.

History:
The former owner of this piccolo won a blind piccolo audition for a significant solo with this piccolo.  She was competing against two master's students (MM) and one doctoral student (DMA). O.K.  So I admit that the player has to be really good to do this, but the instrument has to be fantastic as well!

Price Comparison:
The Powell Signature sells new at online discounters for $4990.  Asking $2700 plus reasonable shipping fee to the US or Canada. The seller Is motivated. This is a great deal!
