This beautiful instrument was built by Jack Moore in 1996 and it was extremely well cared for.  In recent years it has had minimal use, and it plays exceptionally well.  The response is outstanding!

Sterling silver construction throughout, drawn tone holes, white gold springs, .016" tube wall, open holes, offset G, B foot, split E, C# trill, and A=442 William Bennett scale.

New, a comparable Jack Moore flute would cost $8900.

The body is in excellent condition.  No dings, dents or scratches other than the normal fine wear on the finish that one would see on any used flute. 

This instrument plays beautifully in every register, and has a full, balanced sound.  Again, the response is outstanding, and the mechanism works extremely smoothly. 

Overall, the pads are in excellent condition and seal well.  No repairs are needed at this time.  There are only two pads that have small tears in them and may need to be replaced in the somewhat near future.  Two other pads have some fraying that can be seen only if one looks very closely.
