About This Flute:

It is my understanding that the Wilkins' model (semi-handmade in the 60s and 70s), was produced to compete with Haynes and Powell's commercial model flutes.  The Wilkins model was Artley's top instrument.

Specs:
-Serial #186442
-Silver headjoint, body, foot and keys
-B foot
-In-line G
-White gold springs
-Open-Holes
-Y Arms
-I'm guessing that the tubing is .016", just from the feel of the flute and the way that it plays, but this has not been verified.
-Drawn Tone Holes
-A=440
-comes with original slimline case and new outer ProTec case cover, cleaning rod, and removable plugs for the holes.

Condition:
Very good used condition.  As one might expect for it's age, it has some minor surface wear here and there, but is in very nice shape compared to many flutes that I see from that era.  My trusted tech. has done a complete COA, including new pads, so it is ready to play.

Playability:
This flute plays with a light touch all the way down to the low B.  See video demos above!

Price:
Asking $1100 plus reasonable shipping fee.

Sell Price: $1,100.00
