This beautiful vintage flute was originally bought new in 1978. Meticulously cared-for and recently overhauled, including new pads, it is in excellent condition. Specs for This 1978 Flute: -Serial # 44209 -Handmade professional model -A=440 -Sterling Silver Head, Body, Foot -White Gold Springs -Closed-Hole -Offset G -Soldered Toneholes -C Foot -Pointed Key Arms Comes with the original slimline French case, and a cleaning rod. Playability: Plays nicely with a light touch down to the low C. Great original Haynes' sound with a rich quality in the low register, and unusual ease of play on the highest notes. The middle e is also noticeably less "stuffy" than on many flutes, and plays with a clear and open sound. Price: The owner is wanting to move this along, so is lowering the price to $2500 plus reasonable shipping fee. This is an amazing price for such a nice flute! Sell Price: $2,500.00
