About This Flute:
This is comparable to the US-sold Miyazawa Classic (now Vision), only instead of Straubinger pads, it has felt pads--- standard for Miyazawas sold on the European market.  The owner received a good deal on the flute when he bought it, and is very glad to pass that on to the next buyer.  It is priced accordingly.

History of This Flute:
This flute was bought new about two-and-a-half years ago in Europe. The body and foot were manufactured in 2006, and the headjoint around 2011.  It has been played and well-cared-for by one owner for only two-and-a-half-years.

Specs:

- sterling silver head, body, keys and mechanism
-.990 silver riser
-Brogger system
-offset G
-split E
-B foot w/ gizmo
-drawn toneholes
-Felt Pads (standard on the European models)
-A=442
-MZ10 Headjoint (the following description is taken from the Miyazawa site):
"Allows the player to put a large volume of air through the flute, achieving a rich and powerful sound. Characterized by plenty of lower partials anchoring the sound with a full harmonic spectrum.  Flexible and responsive with a wide range of tonal and color possibilities."

Included is the original wood slimline case and the outer carrying case, both in excellent condition. Comes with a cleaning rod and removable plugs for the holes.

Condition:
This flute looks aesthetically beautiful, has good pads, and plays beautifully.  There are some small surface scratches on the underside of the body (minor) that were a result of someone who played the flute (not the owner) and forgot to take their ring off.  There are also some very light surface scratches on the underside of the footjoint ( minor).  None of these are very noticeable unless one looks for them in good lighting.  The flute is clean and otherwise looks fantastic.  Photos and videos coming soon!

Price Comparison:
I've seen used USA Miyazawa Classics go for up to $8000 and $9000 used.

A comparable new flute with similar specs would be $10, 095.

The owner would like to see someone enjoy this flute, so is asking the reasonable price of $5000 plus shipping.
