This instrument sings with a beautiful even tone from low to high, and is a joy to play.   All notes play easily with a light touch to the keys.  It is very well adjusted. The low notes on this particular model are very rich and speak with ease, all the way down to low D, and the mid-high notes speak well with a lovely tone as well, making it a very well-balanced instrument. This particular piccolo is excellent in comparison with many other professional makes and models
