This is a very nice step-up flute for the price. Very clean.  Made in the USA!  It has been serviced ($140 COA and a couple new pads) and is in excellent condition.  Looks like it was barely used.

I played duets with my daughter one day on it for awhile, and I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of play and beautiful sound.  Sometimes flutes can sound stuffy and have sluggish response, esp. in this price range, but this flute impressed me for a flute of this level.  It has a nice open sound, is free blowing, and has very good response.  My friend, who was a professional flutist in Europe for some years, was equally pleased with it when she tested it.

Pads are very good and seal with no leaks.  Comes with case, removable plugs for the holes, and a cleaning rod.
