This excellent professional 684 (HHVCT) flute was bought new in February 2010 and then meticulously cared-for. It is in excellent condition, including the pads. I have to look hard to find one extremely light scratch near the lip plate, where it was grazed by an alto flute...(it is a little bit hard to find, even when I'm looking for it). This flute has just been well-maintained, and it plays exceptionally well with a rich tone and lots of opportunity for a wide range of color and dynamics, as well as fantastic response!
