SOLD--Miyazawa PA 101 RH (similar to current 202) w/ Solid Silver Head-Plays Beautifully!

This beautiful flute was bought new in 2001, and was extremely well-cared-for until now.  It was serviced during that time by Ellen Ramsey of Longmont, Colorado, who is well-respected among flutists for her expertise in repair/maintenance.  

It is similar to the current model 202.  

The head is solid silver, with the free-blowing MZ 6  hand cut headjoint, and the body is silver-plated, with an in-line G, pointed key arms, and C foot.

I can't say enough about how beautifully this flute plays. It has a full-bodied, rich sound in all registers, and a clean response, typical of Miyazawas.

The flute is overall in excellent condition, including the pads.  It has no dents, dings or scratches. The only blemishes I can find are a slight bit of tarnish underneath the mechanism in the hard-to-reach places (very little, really), and a small amount of plating wear on a few of the keys.  This is very minor, and has no effect on the sound whatsoever.

Comes in a hardshell zippered carrying case in excellent condition.  A cleaning rod and plugs are included.
